What makes this book unique for WHO in the Eastern Mediterranean Region is that never before have we expressed our values in pictures rather than in words. In this pictorial we have intentionally not mentioned individual countries or where the photographs were taken, in order to reflect our belief that all the Members of the Region belong to one family, and to focus on the core value-health has no boundaries. As you unfold the wonderful experience of this journey through the Region, and among its people, the photographs will speak for themselves.
