Persistent gaps in maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition (MNCAHN), compounded by evolving global challenges such as funding constraints, humanitarian crises and demographic transitions, require coordinated technical guidance and strategic direction. This report presents the outcomes of the eleventh meeting of the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group of Experts (STAGE), held in June 2025, which brought together experts, WHO staff and partners to review progress and provide recommendations across key MNCAHN priority areas. It reflects the deliberative and advisory nature of STAGE and does not necessarily represent formal WHO policy. The report describes the meeting structure, thematic discussions and consultative process, including open and closed sessions through which consensus-based guidance was developed. It outlines key areas addressed, such as the impact of declining development assistance, MNCAHN in emergency settings, preventive interventions in adolescence, post-2030 global strategies, and health workforce challenges. The analysis highlights risks to service continuity and identifies priorities for strengthening integrated, life course–oriented approaches. It is intended for policy-makers, programme managers and technical partners, and provides a structured basis for informing strategic planning, policy dialogue and the implementation of resilient and equitable MNCAHN programmes across diverse settings.
