This web annex documents the declarations of interests submitted by members of the Guideline Development Group and Peer Review Group involved in developing the WHO guideline on antiviral prophylaxis for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B virus. Prepared in accordance with the WHO Handbook for Guideline Development, it supports transparency by presenting declared personal and institutional interests, reported financial amounts where applicable, and the management measures implemented to address potential conflicts of interest during the guideline development and external review processes. The annex indicates the level of participation permitted for Guideline Development Group members following assessment of declared interests and describes the conflict management plans applied to Peer Review Group members whose institutional or personal interests required consideration. It also provides a summary of the expertise, institutional affiliations, geographical representation and WHO regional distribution of Guideline Development Group members, demonstrating the multidisciplinary and international composition of the group responsible for developing the recommendations.
