dc.descriptionThe 29th Regions for Health Network (RHN) Annual Meeting was held in Trieste, Italy, on 25–27 November2024, hosted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Bringing together over 100 participants from 36 regions, 23Member States, partner organizations and WHO representatives, the meeting provided a platform for dialogue,collaboration and knowledge-sharing on enhancing community well-being. Key discussions covered topics, suchas healthy ageing, the health and care workforce, the Well-Being Economy, the commercial determinants ofhealth, cross-border collaboration and public health approaches. The sessions were designed for interactivityand engagement, and a site visit to Gorizia showcased a mental health facility and a newly established Women’sHouse, reinforcing the meeting’s focus on inclusive and community-driven approaches. The meeting concludedwith the adoption of the Trieste Statement, a commitment to advancing regional action for health and well-being.
