This report provides forecasts of global demand for medicines used to prevent and treat HIV, viral hepatitis B and C, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries. It aims to support advocacy, procurement planning, health system decision-making and market preparedness by presenting coordinated forecasts across three disease areas that share transmission routes, public health challenges and opportunities for integrated service delivery. Drawing on epidemiological data, country reporting, modelling exercises and established forecasting methods, the publication examines anticipated demand for antiretroviral therapy, oral pre-exposure prophylaxis, viral hepatitis medicines and benzathine penicillin G for syphilis treatment. The report presents projected trends in the uptake of HIV treatment and prevention, including shifts in antiretroviral regimens and increasing use of dolutegravir and oral pre-exposure prophylaxis. It also estimates future treatment needs and programme costs for eliminating viral hepatitis B and C, and forecasts demand for benzathine penicillin G in the context of syphilis control, including maternal syphilis.
