The book has two main parts. The first identifies the many factors that influence the process of health manpower development and therefore offer opportunities for change. The second part describes the results of reviews of the health manpower situation conducted in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in New Zealand, in the Republic of Rwanda, and in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam
