Labour migration within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is vital for regional integration, highlighting the need for equitable health-care access for labour migrants of Member States and their family members. This report reviews recent EEU migration trends and legal frameworks, stressing the importance of disaggregated data and alignment with global standards. It presents good practices for protecting the health of migrant workers and their family members using examples from both EEU Member States and internationally. Despite progress, migrants might still face significant health risks related to legal, economic and social challenges. The report outlines key strategies, including strengthening legal protections, enhancing cross-border cooperation, improving health financing, expanding digital health tools and addressing social determinants of health. These efforts aim to build more inclusive health-care systems in the EEU Member States. Continued action is essential to close remaining gaps, ensure health equity and embed migrant health into regional and national policies.
