Description
This publication is the report of the Third Meeting of the Subcommittee on Policy and Programme Development and Management (SPPDM), which met on 2 July 2010. The subcommittee was established by the Sixtieth session of the Regional Committee for South-East Asia in 2007. Delegates from Member States of the Region discussed the agenda items proposed for the Sixty-third Session of the Regional Committee related to programme development and management: Programme Budget Performance Assessment for the 2008-2009 biennium; implementation of workplans for Programme Budget 2010-2011, as well as the proposed Programme Budget for the 2012-2013 biennium, including the implementation of the Regional Committee resolution SEA/RC62/R1, on “Programme budget matters”. The SPPDM meeting made observations and recommendations for consideration by the Sixty-third Session of the Regional Committee.
