Excel spreadsheet
This spreadsheet provides generic budget templates to support planning and costing of viral load testing data quality monitoring activities within HIV programmes. Developed as Web Annex H of the WHO module for assessing and strengthening the quality of viral load testing data within patient monitoring systems, it includes standardized budgeting worksheets for routine data quality assessments, supportive supervision, lot quality assurance sampling (LQAS) and routine site-level data reviews. The workbook is intended to assist programme managers in estimating the resources required to implement data quality assurance activities using a consistent and adaptable approach. It supports budget planning for different monitoring strategies and facilitates resource allocation for strengthening viral load monitoring and data quality within HIV patient monitoring systems.
