Description

Trade liberalization programme has become operational hrough the introduction of the South Asian Free Trade Area (SAFTA) among South Asian nations. The agreement includes tobacco andtobacco products under the "Sensitive List". This document lists ways in whichtrade in tobacco products can be managed under SAFTA in the context of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
