This report documents the proceedings and outcomes of the first WHO Global Oral Health Meeting, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 26–29 November 2024. Convened by the World Health Organization and hosted by the Government of Thailand, the meeting brought together representatives from more than 100 Member States, United Nations agencies, academic institutions, civil society and professional organizations to accelerate implementation of the Global oral health action plan 2023–2030. The report highlights the persistent global burden of oral diseases, which affect approximately 3.7 billion people worldwide, and emphasizes the need to integrate oral health within universal health coverage (UHC), primary health care (PHC) and noncommunicable disease (NCD) agendas. The publication summarizes discussions across key thematic areas, including governance and financing, disease prevention, workforce innovation, integrated service delivery, surveillance systems, research and environmental sustainability. It presents country experiences and policy approaches aimed at strengthening oral health systems, promoting equitable access to essential services and addressing shared risk factors. The report also describes the development of national oral health roadmaps, adoption of the Bangkok Declaration – No Health Without Oral Health, and establishment of the Global Coalition on Oral Health to support coordination, advocacy and implementation of the global oral health agenda.
