| dc.description | The Regional Office for the South-East Asia, World Health Organization organized a Regional meeting of the National Program Managers on Injury Prevention and Care in the South-East Asia Region to review the situation of national programmes on violence and injury prevention and its linkages with disability prevention and rehabilitation in Member countries. Programme Managers from all Member countries except Bangladesh, DPR Korea and Sri Lanka participated in the meeting. Besides, seven (7) regional experts attended the meeting as the Temporary Advisor and WHO secretariat. Increase investment by the Governments of the Member countries in prevention of violence and injury as well as the WHO's role in capacity building for strengthening violence and injury prevention were focused during the meeting. | |
